Welcome to ELF5

The 5th International Conference of English as a Lingua Franca was held on May 24-26 2012 in Istanbul, hosted by Boğaziçi University. It has been truly an honor to host ELF 5!

We would like to thank all of the participants for their academic contributions, the fruitful discussions and the pleasant company, all of which made the conference a very enjoyable and memorable event.
